Hello, my name is Trader Vic and I’m addicted to options trading. I started Trader’s journal in 2008 to record and analyze my trades and help other beginning traders discover a powerful investing tool. Additionally, I will share book and trading platform reviews as well as general market commentary so other self directed options traders can learn from my mistakes and experiences.

Trading is fun and profitable because options offer leverage and sophisticated risk management. Before I began trading, I viewed options as the wall street version of a casino. After some education, I learned options are a truly useful and important part of any investor’s toolbox. While I can’t promise Trader’s Journal will make you rich quick, or even a profit, I aim to provide insight into the esoteric world of options and an entertaining look at my life as a trader.
